fanned out issues
ISPE’s Pharmaceutical Engineering (PE) Magazine remains the connection Members need to stay ahead of the latest industry trends, regulatory changes and technical advancements. Recent survey data demonstrates that reader commitment is growing and with the help of enabling technology, magazine-driven connections are now tweeted daily, posted on Facebook, or shared with your LinkedIn groups. Pharmaceutical Engineering’s digital edition or e-magazine is no exception, taking PE’s content to a new level of mobility by embracing the latest in digital publishing technology. Pharmaceutical Engineering is now available to Members 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on a variety of different platforms, including on-line for MAC and PC and on mobile devices:   iPhone app, iPad app, Android phone, Android Tablet and Kindle Fire.

The proven benefits of digital technology will positively impact Pharmaceutical Engineering’s brand by expanding access to content, increasing circulation and distribution and positioning the magazine for future growth

Pharmaceutical Engineering’s digital edition will be available soon in the Amazon Kindle Fire, Google Play and iOS App Stores and Members can keep as many issues on their mobile devices as they want. Other options to increase access include offers for trial editions or trial subscriptions to non-members and the ability to meter content allowing individuals to read a predetermined amount before they are prompted to make a purchase decision.

Content enhancements will include a consistent look across all channels (print, web and mobile device), easier sharing of content via email or social media which encourages reader participation, embedding multimedia in content, expanding access to additional electronic only articles, special features and topic-focused supplements.

In addition to increased visibility and distribution of PE’s content, these platforms will be a source of new opportunities for the ISPE vendor community. The potential to initiate subscription sales and customize digital advertising and sponsorship opportunities are all possible.

Increased sales opportunities will incorporate ads for electronic versions only, ability to sell individual articles, multimedia embedded ads,  and replication of most print enhancements, e.g., belly-bands, postcards, blow-ins, etc.

Visit www.pharmaceuticalengineering.org in the coming weeks to view the updated digital edition of Pharmaceutical Engineering and to download the new PE app.

Implementing this advanced publishing solution is instrumental in helping ISPE improve the Member experience.
