NominateOne of the benefits of working in the pharmaceutical industry is meeting a variety of professionals who are passionate about their work and have a positive impact on patients worldwide.  For over 30 years, the ISPE International Honor Awards have recognized those who work tirelessly to ensure a safe, reliable supply of quality medicines worldwide. Throughout the Society, individuals and groups are dedicated to improving the industry in different and unique ways.  Last year’s Max Seales Yonker Member of the Year awardee, Jean François Duliere, was recognized for his leadership in the France Affiliate and European Affiliate Council, among other volunteer work.  The 2013 Committee of the Year, ISPE Drug Shortages Initiative Team, was recognized for leading this significant initiative and engaging teams of executives, companies and regulators to determine how ISPE could stimulate, understand and then motivate changes to mitigate shortages. As Chair of ISPE’s International Honor Awards Committee, I have had the pleasure of reviewing all nominations for these awards and learning about the dedicated professionals working with ISPE and throughout the industry to make a difference.  When it’s time to choose the final awardees, the committee faces the difficult decision of choosing from the many individuals and groups worthy of recognition. I encourage you to submit your nominations by using the Nomination Form before the deadline of 18 July. All awardees will be recognized at the Annual Membership Luncheon on Tuesday, 14 October during the ISPE Annual Meeting.  Please help us honor those individuals, committees and companies that deserve recognition for their support of ISPE and dedication to the industry.
