The ISPE 2007 Annual Meeting will garner more exhibitors than any other Annual Meeting ever, with 290 exhibitors this year!

You can search our on-line Exhibitor Directory to see which companies will be exhibiting and to find new sources for products and services before you even arrive in Las Vegas, which will help you maximize your time in the Exhibit Hall.

Make sure you stop by and visit them to find solutions to your everyday problems. While you’re there, get your ISPE Annual Meeting T-shirt Monday morning, and your flash drive on Tuesday. Also on Tuesday there will be the $500 giveaway to several lucky winners, so make sure you get your card stamped by sponsors. New CPIPs and Credential Workshops at ISPE Annual Meeting

The first international Certified Pharmaceutical Industry Professional (CPIP SM) credential — made available through the ISPE Professional Certification Commission (ISPE-PCC) — has been awarded to six  industry professionals. 

The following individuals have been conferred the CPIP, and most will be on hand at ISPE’s Annual Meeting:

  • Mr. Anders Brummerstedt, CPIP,  Manager Computer Compliance, NNE Pharmaplan, Soeborg, Denmark
  • Mr. Chuck Clerecuzio, CPIP, Vice President of AMEC E&C Services, Inc.,  Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, U.S.
  • Mr. Damian Gerstner, CPIP, President, sys-tek, Blue Springs, Missouri, U.S.
  • Mr. Andrew A. Signore, P.E., CPIP, CEO of IPS, Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania, U.S.
  • Ms. Tiffany G. Tomlinson, CPIP, Manufacturing Manager, IDEXX Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Greensboro, North Carolina, U.S.
  • Mr. Andre Walker, CPIP, Director of Manufacturing Engineering for Biogen’s Commercial and Clinical Operations in Cambridge, Massachusetts, U.S.

ISPE Keynote Sessions Focus on Pharmaceutical Industry

ISPE’s Keynote Session, Monday 5 November in Las Vegas, will include ISPE’s goals for the future, along with the following keynote speakers:

  • Charlie Portwood, President of Wyeth’s Technical Operations and Product Supply (TO&PS) organization, will discuss the Importance of Integrating Standardized Systems in Quality Manufacturing.
  • Gary Convis, Chairman of Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky and Executive Vice President of Toyota Mort Engineering and Manufacturing North America, will discuss the role of management in lean manufacturing, along with its commitment to a “customer first” philosophy; and
  • Uri Boneh, Director of Global Engineering for Teva Global Generic Resources, will speak about Teva’s Jerusalem oral solid dosage plant recently completed and approved by the US Food and Drug Administration.
