Carl Dekker of Met-L-Flo, Inc. discussed applying additive manufacturing technologies to achieve multiple low run production volumes for advancing manufacturing and accelerate market adoption with metal, plastic, and silicone materials.

Next, Sheku Kamara of the Milwaukee School of Engineering presented the inputs, technology, process, and business and economics of additive manufacturing.

Baxter Healthcare Corporation’s Terry Kreplin then discussed traditional packing design, including human factors and the benefits of using additive manufacturing to improve time to market.
